Consumer Survey August 2014
We recently conducted an extensive piece of research by carrying out an online questionnaire with consumers who had or had not been previous customers at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre for either leadership or skills courses. An individual questionnaire was produced for each areas of focus and we were delighted with the response rate. This piece of research identified that the most important factors when choosing a training provider included:
- Quality and experience of instructional staff (83%)
- Recognised safety standards (65%)
- Ease of which to get in contact with (58%)
- Prompt and helpful response to enquiry (55%)
- 90% rated leadership courses delivered by Tollymore National Outdoor Centre as either 4 or 5 out of 5.
The most important factors for respondents when selecting an outdoor activity skills course provider included:
- Quality and experience of instructional staff (71%)
- Recognised safety standards (63%)
- Quality of equipment (52%)
- 92% of respondents who were previous customers of Tollymore National Outdoor Centre rated the overall delivery of skills courses as either 4 or 5 out of 5.
We are obviously absolutely delighted that Tollymore National Outdoor Centre has ranked so highly in these important area so if you are booking yourself, your community group, your school, etc into a skills or leadership programme at the Centre you can be guaranteed an overall excellent experience second to none! Current situation
As you are probably aware the current advice from the Northern Ireland Executive, Health Promotion Agency NI and Health & Safety Executive NI, as well as our expert group within Sport NI is that we cannot deliver any face to face courses for our customers including use of the Hot Rock Climbing Wall.
We know that you and many others like minded folk are very keen to get back on track with your plans to attend and complete a range of personal skills training and qualifications in a range of disciplines.
Believe us when we say we are equally keen to get outside with you and help you reach your goals and complete that journey.
How do we know? Because every day we get emails and phone calls asking when will courses resume and with every NI Executive mention of easing of restrictions the emails and phone calls are more frequent……
