Sport Northern Ireland is a transparent and open organisation; publishing a great deal of information about what we do on this website. However there may be other issues about which you would like further information and the following text explains how you may obtain such information.

Publication Scheme

In order to comply with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public sector organisations such as Sport Northern Ireland have to routinely publish information whenever possible.

Sport Northern Ireland reviews the information routinely put into the public domain to ensure it compliant with the Definition Document. You will be able to see where Sport Northern Ireland do not hold relevant information or where for some reason Sport Northern Ireland has decided not to routinely disclose information identified in the Definition Document by referring to our Publication Scheme Guidance.

Most of the information Sport Northern Ireland makes routinely available can be accessed through our website. Such information is continually updated. If you cannot find information through the website’s search engine and Sport Northern Ireland has indicated in our Publication Scheme that the information is routinely available this may be because the information cannot be loaded onto our website. In such circumstances you should contact us requesting the information to be provided to you.

Current situation

As you are probably aware the current advice from the Northern Ireland Executive, Health Promotion Agency NI and Health & Safety Executive NI, as well as our expert group within Sport NI is that we cannot deliver any face to face courses for our customers including use of the Hot Rock Climbing Wall.
