The British Canoeing Awarding Body Stand Up Paddleboard (Sheltered Water) Coach training targets coaches who want to gain more knowledge about coaching Stand Up Paddleboard. This course provides the techniques and strategies for coaching Stand Up Paddleboard techniques to support the Course Training Programme. The module seeks to support the continuing process of good coaching practice from the Coach Core Module with the syllabus written to focus on coaches who are likely to be supporting paddlers at introductory to intermediate level.
↓ Who is the course for?
Typically run over 2 days the Discipline Specific Training focuses on HOW to coach the WHAT (discipline specific skills) and WHERE you will be coaching. The training explores how to coach technical and tactical skills.
